For Bosco's Chemo

I am extending Freya's raffle until May 4th. In addition to this, I have added a new furbaby that desperately needs our help.
Bosco is a 6 yr old lab/chow mix that was recently diagnosed with lymphoma. His Mom Nikki and I met at our local dog park. Bosco will be starting Chemotherapy next week at Guelph OVC. It is a 6 months long treatments. 1 times a week for 26 weeks. They feel that they caught his cancer early enough and that with the chemo his prognosis will be very good.
$270 was raised so far in this raffle for Freya's biopsies. Which were done on Wednesday. Any funds collected from today until May 4th will be put towards Bosco's vet bill. I will be able to give the money directly to the hospital as I will be there with Freya for her check up at the end of May. The mass in Freya's ear needs to be removed, but is far less urgent then Bosco receiving his chemo.

So here's the news. Freya's arm looks super fab! The doctor is extremely please with how well it is healing. I am to check it every day for signs of the tumor's regrowth, and Freya will have another recheck of the arm in 6 weeks.
As for the rest.... The lumpy thing in her ear needs to be removed. Its one of those ""Things" that will just keep on growing unless you take it off. So, we will, but not right now. Right now it is still small and Freya needs a blood break and time to be a dog and enjoy things. The lump on the back of her neck was aspirated today. Has cells in the fluid they drew so they are sending it away for a cytology. I should have the results in a few days. I didn't get a bill for today, because oncology does their own billing and had not yet updated my account before I was ready to leave. Reception said it will get sent in the mail. So the only thing I had to pay for was the recheck today. From previous biopsy experiences I am assuming the bill they will send will be somewhere around the $250 mark since they only had to aspirate the one mass. Since surgery will be in Freya's future, I will keep her chipin and raffle open. Hopefully enough will be raised for that. All in all today was good, so lets hope for good results on the biopsy. I apologize, below it was supposed to say Freya completed 4 weeks, a total of 19 treatments of radiation therapy.

This chipin is a raffle to help raise funds for my 9 year old Siberian Husky Freya.
On March 29th Freya finished a 4 week 19 week course of radiation therapy for cancer in her arm. It was her 4th occurrence of cancer in this location.
Last week I found 2 new masses. One located just below the base of her skull and one in her ear that is lumpy and discolored.
I want to get these biopsied asap so I know what we are dealing with. Future treatment will be determined when we have results and speak to her oncologist.
Freya receives her care for her cancer from Oncologist Dr Valerie Poirier at Guelph OVC in Guelph Ontario Canada. Her next follow up is in just a few days at which point I will be discussing the new lumps with her doctor. I will proceed with having them to the biopsies once we have an estimate and the funds have been raised.
